July 1st, 2014 marks the 147th birthday of Canada. Celebrations were held all across the country.

The Niagara Falls Parade commenced at 11 a.m. on Victoria Street in the downtown core and moved along Queen Street. Excited audience members lined the streets waving their Canadian flags.

The Tian Guo Marching Band’s performance was greatly appreciated by the enthusiastic onlookers. Spectators applauded and cheered after every song that the band played. Many danced in tune with the music and took photos and videos.
