2013 marks the 45th anniversary of the Kitchener/Waterloo Oktoberfest Parade. This year it was held on Canada’s Thanksgiving Day, October 24.

The Tian Guo Marching Band has participated in this popular event for the past 6 years. Over 200,000 spectators lined the12-mile route along King Street to watch the parade. Both organizers and audience members expressed their appreciation of the band’s performance. Gerica from Waterloo stated, “I like them a lot. I’ve recently seen them in many parades. Every time I see them, I get especially excited”. Monika from Kitchener said she has seen the band perform every year. She said, I’m thrilled to see them. Their performance is terrific. I thank them for working so hard to bring people such joy every year.
