Thornhill is a picturesque village just outside of Toronto. On Saturday, September 17, 2011, villagers gathered to celebrate the 35th annual festival. The activities kicked off at 10:30 a.m. with a parade.

This is the third year that the Tian Guo Marching Band participated in the parade. Despite the chilly weather, many spectators lined the streets. The band’s performance was greatly appreciated by audience members. They applauded enthusiastically and took photos and videos.
