The 42nd annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Parade was held on Monday, October 11, 2010. This is the largest parade of its kind in North America with over 160 entries, including 22 marching bands. 

This is the 3rd time that The Tian Guo Marching Band participated. Despite the rain, thousands of spectators lined the streets and cheered the band all along the 6-kilometer route through the two cities.

After the parade the drum major was approached by one of the parade organizers to comment on the band’s excellent performance and extend an invitation to next year’s event.
