On Saturday, June 13, The Philippine Independence Day Celebration was held at Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto.

This is the fourth year in a row that The Tian Guo Marching Band was invited to attend.

The festivities began with a parade led by the band, followed by the opening ceremonies commencing with the band playing the national anthem, "O Canada".

The organizer publically expressed her deep appreciation for the participation of the Tian Guo Marching Band.
