The annual Brampton Santa Claus Parade kicked off at 5:00pm on November 15, 2008. The community members put a lot of time and effort into this event each year, and the floats are exquisite.
Although the rain poured down consistently throughout the parade, the onlookers were determined to have fun.
This is the 3rd year in a row that the Tian Guo Marching Band was invited to attend. The enthusiastic onlookers cheered the band on and clapped after each song.
Thank You E-mail from Brampton Board of Trade and the Santa Claus Parade Committee:
=========================================
To all the members of the Tian Guo Marching Band,
On behalf of the Brampton Board of Trade and the Santa Claus Parade Committee, I would like to express our sincere thanks for your participation in our parade.
We really appreciate the effort and professionalism everyone in your band put into making this a successful parade ?despite the weather!
It took a lot of patience and hard work from everyone to overcome the rain and cold and still perform so well.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
We hope you will be able to join us again next year ?and we'll try to get the weatherman to co-operate! (Don't think he could do any worse!)
We will be in touch in early spring 2009 to start planning for next year's parade.
Merry Christmas and Best Wishes in the New Year.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
