On July 1st, 2008 at 10:00 a. m., the Tian Guo Marching Band of Canada participated in the East York Canada Day Parade to celebrate Canada's 141st birthday.

The spectators enthusiastically welcomed the band and several made comments. Marden and Janet, a couple sitting in front of their house, gave them a thumbs-up and shouted, "Wonderful Falun Dafa!" Janet said, "They performed so beautifully that we all enjoyed it!"

Mary, a spectator wearing a hat emblazoned with the Canadian flag, danced to the music performed by the band. She said, "I like them very much. I wish them a Happy Canada Day."

Mannesi is Filipino and attended the parade with his 9 family members. After seeing the band perform he remarked, "We thank Falun Dafa for bringing us a wonderful performance".
