On Sunday, August 21, 2022, a week long festival celebrating Philippine Independence Day ended with the Taste of Manila Festival in north Toronto. The Manila Festival is the largest Filipino festival in North America outside the Philippines.

The Tian Guo Marching Band performed as part of the opening ceremonies and then led the parade. Spectators clapped, took photos and videos and thanked the band for their performance.
