The opening parade of the 106^thCalgary Stampede was held on July 6, 2018. This ten-day annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival, held every year in Calgary, Alberta, attracts 100,000 tourists from all around the world. About 300,000 people watched the parade, which is the second largest in North America.

Tian Guo Marching Band members from Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver and San Francisco participated. The performance received warm applause and thumbs-up from spectators.

Falun Gong practitioner’s high spirits, bright colours and beautiful music touched people’s hearts. Many people commented, “Thank you! You are great!”

Jason Kenney, MLA PC, leader of the Conservative Party in Alberta, visited the band before the parade and posed for a photo with them.
