On July 1^st, 2018 at 4:00 P.M., the annual Canada Day Parade kicked off in Scarborough, Ontario, marking Canada’s 151^stbirthday.

Spectators dressed in red and white lined the streets, despite the high temperature of 94 F. The Tian Guo Marching Band was greeted with excitement. Ms. Xu from China was visiting her family and walked the entire parade route with her friend. Impressed by the positive feedback from people along the road, she said, “From beginning to end, I heard applause and excitement constantly. It is really amazing!”

Mayoral candidate Steven Lam said he really likes the Tian Guo Marching Band.
