Welland is a city in Niagara, about an hour drive from Toronto. Since 1961, the Welland Rose Festival has brought people together to celebrate history, heritage and community. The festival is comprised of several events, including a parade.

On Sunday, June 24 at 1:00 P.M., the Welland Rose Festival Parade commenced in the downtown area. Despite the rain, spectators enthusiastically lined the streets.

Audience members loudly applauded the Tian Guo Marching Band throughout their performance and complimented them after the parade. 

The Tian Guo Marching Band received the "most original and creative entry award" for the parade.
