The 48th annual Unionville Festival Parade commenced at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 3, in Unionville, a town located about half an hour north of Toronto.

The Tian Guo Marching Band was warmly welcomed by the enthusiastic crowds, who applauded along the route, and many spectators commented positively.

Nancy, one of the event organizer’s, thanked the band for their great performance, saying that Falun Gong is well known in the community and their performances are well liked. She added, “They bring the light to this city.”

Gary Bartlett, a software developer, agreed. “I like the music, costumes and colour. It is absolutely fantastic!”

A Unionville resident and her son applauded, saying, “Very impressive, very inspiring, and very touching!” She thanked the Falun Gong group for bringing something so beautiful and joyful to the community.
