May 13 marks World Falun Dafa day each year. It commemorates the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public and the birthday of the founder, Master Li Hongzhi. The 25th anniversary was celebrated in downtown Toronto on May 6, 2017 with a parade. The parade, led by the Tian Guo Marching Band, began at 12:15 pm in the south end of the city and proceeded to the downtown core and Chinatown. Spectators took photos, videos, and greeted the band with enthusiasm.
