The annual Scarborough celebration of Canada’s birthday began at 4:00 p.m. on July 1^st. The streets were lined with enthusiastic onlookers dressed in red and waiving Canadian flags.

Audience members applauded the Tian Guo Marching Band throughout the parade route. Liselle, her husband Mike, and daughter July see the band in this parade every year. July stated, “They are full of energy and they bring peace to the audience.”

Although Linda and her husband Peter have seen many parades, they commented that the band is “very unique.” Peter said, “They are peaceful, happy, and have strong energy.”
