London Santa Claus Parade, November 14, 2015

The 59^th annual Santa Claus Parade commenced Saturday evening, November 14, in downtown London, Ontario.

Organizers estimated that 100,000 spectators attended. The Tian Guo Marching Band received applause and greetings of “Merry Christmas” all along the parade route. A Chinese tourist was pleasantly surprised to see a band made up of mainly Chinese members and stated that the performance was “majestic”.

Shaun Merton, Parade Committee Director, sent the band a letter to thank them for their performance and to encourage them to attend next year.
