Oshawa Festival Parade, June 17, 2012

The 40th annual Oshawa Festival Parade commenced on Sunday, June 17 around 12:30 pm.  It began at the corner of King and Centre streets in the downtown core. The event kicked off Fiesta Week, a week- long multicultural family festival.

The Tian Guo Marching Band has participated in the parade for six consecutive years. The excited crowd gave the band a warm welcome. Many observers applauded and cheered when the band was playing.
