Brampton Flower City Parade, Saturday, June 19, 2010

On Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. The Brampton Flower City Parade commenced. (www.flowerparade.ca).

This is the 4th consecutive year that The Tian Guo Marching Band has participated in this event.

While waiting for the parade to begin, band members did the Falun Gong exercises in a group. Timothy Zaw, the chair of The Toronto Burma Roundtable, saw them. He told a reporter, "I support Falun Gong. I know they are peaceful. I also know about the persecution".

Spectators gave the band a warm welcome and a resident of Brampton, Fabna, said, "I see the band every year and I am delighted every time I see them. I like their performances".
