Caribana Parade, Toronto, August 1, 2009

The 42nd annual Caribana Parade was held along the lakeshore in Toronto on August 1, 2009. It is one of the largest parades in North America and an estimated 1.3 Milllion people attended.

This is the fourth consecutive year that The Tian Guo Marching Band participated. The band was warmly received by both spectators and organizers. One of the audience members said, "It is my first time seeing such a spectacular Chinese marching band and I am moved. Their performance added many beautiful moments to the parade".

One of the parade organizers stated that The Tian Guo Marching Band would be invited to return next year.
