Thornhill Village Festival Parade, September 15, 2007

The 31st annual Thornhill Village Festival was held on September 15 2007 in the historic and picturesque city of Thornhill. (http://www.thornhillhistoric.org/festival/media_partners.html). Over 150 craft booths, food vendors, demonstrators and community group displays were presented. Other activities included art shows, battle reenactments, amusement rides and entertainment.

The Festival Parade is an integral part of the celebrations and this is the second year in a row that the Tian Guo Marching Band of Canada was invited. Many individuals, performers, schools and community groups participated.

The weather was perfect for marching and the parade route was crowded with spectators. Many people showed their appreciation for the band's performance by clapping and shouting.

After the parade, one of the audience members approached a band member and expressed surprise and joy to hear such beautiful music. He was very impressed with the performance and expressed interest in learning more about the band and Falun Dafa.
