Flower City Festival, Brampton, June 16, 2007

The Flower City Parade was held on Saturday, June 16, officially kicking off summer in the City of Brampton.

The City Parade remembered Brampton's Flowertown roots and celebrated the City's splendor as the nationally-recognized Flower City of Canada.

The parade consisted of brightly decorated floats made with vibrantly coloured blooms. In addition to the floral floats, the parade included lively marching bands, Shiner clowns in miniature cars, stilt walkers and more.

Tian Guo Marching Band was invited to participate the parade and brings many joyful audience to watch again. This is the second year that the city of Brampton invited The Tian Guo Marching Band to participate in The Flower City Parade. Many members of the audience had seen the perfomance last year and joyfully returned again.
