The 7th annual Hamilton Carnival Parade commenced on Saturday, August 7 at noon. The parade is just one of the events in the celebration of the Caribbean culture.

Although The Tian Guo Marching Band is composed of mainly Chinese people, the organizers asked them to lead the parade. A spectator was highly impressed, saying that it was wonderful that the band was foremost.

Many audience members made positive comments about the band's performance. A man from Sudan stated, "The music is very beautiful. It is very touching". Another observer exclaimed, "It is spectacular"!
