Canada Day Parade, Montreal, July 1, 2007

The annual Montreal Canada Day Parade is one of the largest July 1st parades in Canada. The Organizer of the multicultural event invited The Tian Guo Marching Band to attend this year's parade, saying she had thoroughly enjoyed the band's performance in 2006.

At 11:00 a.m. on July 1, 2007, 140 band members participated in the parade. Upon their arrival at the stage, the Parade Organizer introduced the band to the audience, praised their performance and then presented the Drum Major with the top award, The Canada Day Parade President's Trophy. The Parade Chairman personally shook hands with each of the band members that were in the front line, thanking them for making the 7- hour bus trip to the venue.

After the parade the band members walked to Chinatown to participate in a rally supporting the 23 Million courageous people that have renounced their membership in the Chinese Communist Party. Speeches given in English, French and Chinese outlined the history of the current terrorist regime in China that has killed 80 Million innocent Chinese people since it came to power 59 years ago. Following the rally, The Tian Guo Marching Band led a parade that wound through the narrow streets of Chinatown. Many spectators were stunned by the performance. Some of the audience had viewed the morning parade, and traveled to Chinatown to hear the music again.
