Toronto Easter Parade, April 20, 2014

The 48th annual Easter Parade commenced at 2pm on Easter Sunday in the east end beaches of Toronto.  According to the organizers, this year’s event on April 20th drew 50, 000 spectators.

This is the seventh year in a row that The Tian Guo Marching Band has participated.  Once again their beautiful music touched the hearts of the organizers and audience members. The parade director, Keith Begley commented, “Falun Gong is the best”. Anna, a new resident to the area stated, “ As sunny as the weather, they bring hope to the world”.

Many spectators took photos of the band performing. During the band’s rehearsal prior to the parade, a documentary filmmaker, Stephen Low and his colleague, Girstan, videotaped the band and said they would add the footage to the documentary they were working on.
