Scarborough Canada Day Parade, July 1, 2014

Scarborough is a district and former municipality in the eastern part of the city of Toronto. On July 1st, 2014 at 4 p.m. Scarborough held it’s 44th annual Canada Day Parade to celebrate the country’s 147th birthday.

Although the weather forecast was severe thunderstorms, this didn’t materialize. Excited spectators lined the streets wearing the Canadian flag colors of red and white.

This is the 6th year in a row that The Tian Guo Marching Band has marched in the parade. Audience members excitedly cheered, applauded and took photos of the band all along the parade route.
