Kitchener-Waterloo hosts the annual Oktoberfest celebration. It is the largest Bavarian Festival and Thanksgiving Day Parade in Canada. This year it was held on October 10, 2022 and over 100 groups joined.

The Tian Guo Marching Band has been asked to participate several years in a row as the organizer likes their performances.

This year thousands of participants lined the streets and cheered the band on.  A man, his family and friends enjoyed the music so much that they walked alongside the band for the entire parade and upon completion asked to have their photo taken with the band.
