July 1^st, 2016 marks the 149^th birthday of Canada and celebrations were held all over the country. In Port Credit, the “Paint The Town Red” event commenced with a parade at 11:00 a.m.

The Tian Guo Marching Band received a warm welcome from the audience members.  Many people applauded, smiled and gave positive comments. Ehsan Khandaker, the head of Heartland Creditwiew Community & Health Services, really enjoyed the band performances. He took a lot of pictures and said that he will invite the band to another parade in August.
