May 13 marks World Falun Dafa day each year. It commemorates the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public and the birthday of the founder, Master Li Hongzhi. The 24th anniversary was celebrated at Nathan Phillips Square in downtownToronto on May 3, 2016. The event began at 11:30 a.m. with a parade led by the Tian Guo Marching Band . This was followed by a stage performance by the band, then singing, dancing and poetry readings.
