The 103rd annual Calgary Stampede, known as “The greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”, commenced with a parade in downtown Calgary on July 3rd at 7:30 AM. The 2 hour parade attracted over 350, 000 spectators and 2 million TV viewers.

This year The Tian Guo Marching Band was awarded Best Senior Band and Best Canadian band. Audience members cheered, applauded and took photos along the parade route. After the parade, the band did an onstage performance. Canadian Defense Minister Jason Kenney posed for a photo with the band. He praised their performance and said, “Falun Dafa Is Great!”
