May Day Festival, York Region South, York Region, May 5, 2007

May is awareness month for Community Living York South which has the mission to support people with intellectual disability to live, learn, work and participate in the community. On May 5, 2007, the Tian Guo Band and the Lian Hua Arts Group were invited to participate in the May Day Festival, Celebrating Our Communities in Thornhill, Stouville, Richmond Hill and Vaughan. MPP Mario G. Racco presented awards to the Tian Gou Band and the Lian Hua Arts Group in appreciation for their support.

Vaughan: at Vellore Thownship Hall
Stouffville: at Memorial Park.
